VISITA PLUS CREAM

COMPOSITION:
Clotrimazole BP ......... 1.0% w/w s
Betamethasone Dipropionate USP equivalent to Betamethasone ................. 0.05% w/w
Neomycin Sulfate USP 0.5% eq. to Neomycin base ………….. 0.35% w/w in a cream base.

PHARMACOLOGY

The active ingredient of VISITA PLUS is Clotrimazole a broad spectrum anti-fungal agent that inhibits the growth of most fungi pathogens, including candida and dermatophyte (Trichophyton, Microsporum and Epidermophyton).

• Betamethasone is highly effective as an anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic agent.
• Neomycin sulfate is an antibiotic which treats local infections of the skin and topicals.
• The combined effect obtained in the composition of the compounds results in VISITA PLUS cream being highly effective against fungi, bacteria, inflammation and pruritis.

INDICATIONS

VISITA PLUS is indicated for the treatment of Fungal and Bacterial infection of the skin including (Chrome dermatitis of the extremities, Balanophosphitis, Eczema, contact dermatitis, Follicular dermatitis, Perakeratosis, Anal pruritus, Intertrigo, Impetigo, Tinea infections, and Lichenified dermatophytosis), inflammatory manifestation and Allergic reaction of the skin.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS

• VISITA PLUS cream is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components.
• VISITA PLUS is for topical use only and cannot be used for internal or ophthalmic use.
• Special precautions must be observed during use on pregnant women and children.

ADVERSE EFFECTS

VISITA PLUS is a topical antifungal cream that is well tolerated when used properly. In some occasions, irritation or burning sensation may occur during treatment. In severe or extreme doses, you may contact your doctor.

DOSAGE & APPLICATIONS

• It should be applied to cover completely the affected area 2 or 3 times daily, or as prescribed by the physician.
• Frequency of application should be determined according to the severity of the patient's condition.
• Duration of therapy should be determined by patient response.
• In cases Tinea Pedis longer therapy 2-4 weeks may be necessary.

STORAGE/HANDLING RECOMMENDATIONS

• Do not store above 30°C.
• Do not freeze.
• Protect from light.
• Keep the medicine out of reach of children.
